One champion will be missed in the 2019 Tournament of Champions lineup: 2018 Teachers Tournament winner Larry Martin. Though his win earned him a spot in the tournament, the beloved educator from Kansas City, Missouri, passed away from pancreatic cancer in January of this year. Throughout the duration of the event, the 15 contestants will be wearing purple ribbons to commemorate this great player and even greater individual.
