JAMES HOLZHAUER BREAKS $2 MILLION BARRIER WITH 27th ‘JEOPARDY!’ WIN
James Holzhauer, a 34-year-old professional sports gambler from Las Vegas, Nev., reached another JEOPARDY! milestone today when he won his 27th game in arow and became the second person in the show’s history to earn more than $2 million in regular-season (non-tournament) play.
Francois Barcomb, a high school physics teacher from New Paltz, N.Y. won the JEOPARDY! Teachers Tournament presented by Amazon Alexa today, claiming the $100,000 grand prize and a spot in the next Tournament of Champions.
